Dear Orchard Hollow Families,
We are so excited to be in the planning stages for Field Day on Tuesday May 26! With the new building schedule, there will be some changes to accommodate the early start time, as well as end time, to make way for buses at dismissal. Thank you in advance for your patience as we all navigate this new schedule for the day.
Please know that you MUST BE FINGERPRINTED AND APPROVED to volunteer. Field Day is only for approved volunteers and our Orchard Hollow students and staff. You are not permitted to bring other children or adults with you. You will be expected to run and actively participate at a station. All volunteers should supervise students closely for safety purposes.
There will be two sessions to volunteer, so you will be asked to choose the one session that works best for you (AM 7:50am-10:50am) OR PM 10:30am-1:30pm). Times are subject to change within these time blocks as we plan activities and prepare for various weather conditions. If we need any all-day volunteers, we will reach out.
We created a google form for parents to gauge interest in volunteering. This is NOT an assignment for volunteering at Field Day. Please fill this out only if you are able to volunteer on this date. Each individual person must complete their own form. As we continue to plan, we will know how many volunteers we need for the different stations and will reach out in May to let you know more information. Please complete this form by April 30th if you are interested in volunteering. After this date we may have to add your name to a wait list based on the number of volunteers we will need.
